How to find the Chalet Studio and Garden Flat

Directions from the M6 – Junction 36

• Signposted to South Lakes, Kendal and Barrow.
• After 2 Miles take the slip road signposted A590 to Barrow
• Follow the A590 towards Barrow and at the roundabout take the first left (B5277 to Grange Over Sands) This road takes you through Lindale where you turn left opposite the Lindale Inn at the Mini Roundabout.
• Follow the road to Grange, past the Netherwood Hotel on your right, on the Railway station on the left.
• Continue to the Mini Roundabout and take the first exit to the left. Folllow the main street through the shops, over the zebra crossing, up the hill, to the next mini roundabout, Take the second exit to the right and follow the road past the Post Office and “Spar”
• At the cross-roads, go straight across up Grange Fell Road. Highfield Road is on your left, halfway up the hill,
• DO NOT TURN into Highfield Road. The Entrance to the Chalet is between 2 High Stone Walls a little further up the hill on your left.

Access by Train

Grange Station is on the Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness line. Some trains go straight to Grange from Manchester. Some trains require you to change at Preston and/or Lancaster.

There are approximately 18 trains to Grange per day and out again.
